Bio:
Luz Karime Calle-Diaz holds a Master of Arts in English Language Teaching and a PhD in Education from Universidad del Norte, in Colombia. She is an educational researcher currently working as a Pedagogy Support Specialist at ELL. She is also a language teacher educator and research advisor. She has worked in a variety of local and national educational projects to contribute to the improvement of bilingual education in her country.

She coordinated the design of the Colombian National Suggested Curriculum for English learning in Elementary School.
Dr. Calle-Diaz has also published relevant chapters and articles about language teaching and learning, as well as the intersection of language learning, global citizenship and peacebuilding.
