About the role

The Learning Experience Designer will play a pivotal role in shaping and optimizing the holistic learning journeys within our language learning platforms, specifically designed for corporate clients and educational institutions. This position is focused on crafting highly effective, engaging, and user-centric learning experiences that seamlessly integrate cutting-edge EdTech solutions, ensuring measurable outcomes in language proficiency across diverse professional and academic settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Holistic Learning Journeys: Conceptualize and architect end-to-end learning pathways tailored to various language proficiency levels, ensuring alignment with corporate training goals and educational standards.
  • Develop Instructional Strategies: Craft instructional frameworks and learning architectures grounded in second language acquisition theories, with a focus on enhancing retention and practical application in professional environments.
  • Create Specifications for Interactive Elements: Design and specify interactive components, including exercises, assessments, and multimedia resources, that drive engagement and reinforce learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with content creators, UX/UI designers, and development teams to ensure a cohesive, effective, and scalable learning experience that meets the unique needs of our B2B clients.
  • Personalize User Experiences: Define and optimize parameters for adaptive learning algorithms, ensuring personalized learning pathways that address individual user needs and preferences within a corporate or educational context.
  • Leverage Data-Driven Insights: Conduct thorough user research and analyze learning data to continually refine and enhance the learning experience, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of our corporate and institutional clients.
  • Incorporate Gamification and Engagement Strategies: Design gamification elements, reward systems, and other engagement strategies that boost user motivation and participation, driving higher completion rates and learning efficacy.
  • Integrate Multimodal Learning: Develop comprehensive frameworks for integrating various learning modalities (listening, speaking, reading, writing) across different delivery platforms (mobile, desktop), ensuring a seamless and accessible learning experience for all users.
  • Ensure Consistency and Quality: Establish and maintain guidelines for content creators to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with the overall learning objectives and brand standards across all user interactions.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Linguistics, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in learning experience design, instructional design, or a similar role, preferably within the EdTech or language learning sector.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS), authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate), and familiarity with UX/UI design principles.

  • Theoretical Knowledge: Strong understanding of second language acquisition theories, instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM), and adaptive learning technologies.

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze learning data, user feedback, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement in learning experiences.

  • Creativity and Innovation: Demonstrated ability to design engaging, interactive, and innovative learning experiences that meet the needs of diverse learner populations.

  • Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring high quality and consistency across all deliverables.

  • Project Management: Experience managing projects from concept to completion, including timeline management and stakeholder communication.
