Assistant to Account Manager

Hours/Schedule: Full time; Monday through Friday

Our company is an E-Learning company that sells its solutions to clients around the world. We work with agents and distributors and interact with the final clients, which may include, but not be limited to, universities and Government institutions.

Job Description

As the Assistant to the Account Manager you will support all activities related to the pre and post sale aspects of our business. You will receive requests and tasks and collaborate with other areas of our company (e.g. technology, project management, design etc.) to resolve and move projects along. We have a number of key clients and relationships in Latin America and require fluency in Spanish.

Specific Responsibilities

- Support the Account Manager on a day-to-day basis on various tasks:
- Setting up trial accounts and demo accesses
- Respond to billing questions
- Provide basic presentations and demoing of the products or “how to use” certain functions of our platform
- Data entry and other administrative functions.
- Assist in testing, troubleshooting and enabling access to platform/products;
- Coordinate and prepare the execution of periodic product training to resellers/distributors about existing products and new product launches;
- Develop and maintain a collaborative relationship with different functional groups: Technical, Accounting, etc.;
- Establish and maintain a close working relationship with clients’ customer support staff;
- Continuously update the client database, and ensure up-to-date information is maintained;
- Attend meetings, training as required;
- Other duties as requested.

Requirements/Qualifications

- Bachelor degree with 1-2 two years of experience in coordinating technical support and managing customer relationships
- Knowledge of quality assurance practices and processes
- Required fluency in both written and spoken Spanish
- Customer service oriented: Maintain a courteous and professional manner at all times when dealing with clients and colleagues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Team player with the ability to take initiative and function independently
- Ability to support multiple projects at the same time while paying attention to details
- Identify and act on potential problems and/or issues
- Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills and lateral thinking
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize multi-tasks

Director of Pedagogy/Instructional Design

Currently, we are seeking to fill in the position of Director of Pedagogy with an experienced and senior pedagogical professional.

Responsibilities:

- Serve as a content specialist and pedagogical expert.
- Design curriculum and develop material for online and blended courses focusing on areas such as EFL/ESL, professional development, and English for Special Purposes.
- Ability to conceptualize, develop and articulate vision for our products and programs.
- Recruiting and training of pedagogical staff, and product management.
- Work collaboratively with programming, design, media, and other teams in the organization to create a well-rounded course.
- Present to and communicate effectively with staff and clients.
- Support sales by providing pedagogical rational to clients.
- Provide teacher and user training to clients.
- Manage competing tasks and deadlines.
- Experience in gamification for learning is an asset
- This role requires travel to countries around the world and ability to adapt to different cultures.

Education and Experience

- Advanced degree in Education or Language Studies
- At least 10 years experience in the field of Pedagogy and ESL/EFL
- At least 3 years ELearning or instructional design experience
- At least 3 years classroom teaching experience

Data Entry Assistant

ELL Technologies Ltd. is developing an innovative learning solution for a government agency based in Latin America. The project team is comprised of a Project Manager, Instructional Designer, Content Editors, Designers, and Web Developers. This dynamic team will work together to design and develop new interactive online- and simulation-based programs and courses, within a deadline-driven project schedule.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Verify and validate learning materials to meet pre-defined requirements. Assist in out review process with audio editing, image sourcing and other such tasks.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Computer savvy and quick to learn Proficient in MS Office, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Ability to type minimum 60 words per minute Ability to work under pressure and with short turn-around times Ability to multitask in a collaborative / project-based environment.
